If you love To All The Boys I Love Before book/Netflix series, get ready for the next hit from the mind of Jenny Han! The Summer I Turned Pretty finally gets a premiere date from Amazon Prime and I cannot wait!

Jenny Han is a #1 New York Times Best-Selling Author. Her books have been published in more than 30 languages. And the success of the adaptation for To All The Boys led to a spin-off XO, Kitty. Now, Han’s 2nd wildly successful series is coming to Amazon Prime this summer!


The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational coming-of-age drama by author Jenny Han. Isabel “Belly” Conklin (the series protagonist) is the daughter of Laurel and the younger sister of Steven. She is a headstrong young girl, who is equally as fragile. While she has had a lifelong crush on Conrad, Belly finds herself developing feelings for his brother, Jeremiah. Giving the series an intense love triangle. This coming-of-age story is about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer. 

The series stars Lola Tung as Belly, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney as Conrad, and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah. Round out the rest of the cast are Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, and Minnie Mills, with Colin Ferguson and Tom Everett Scott

This Prime Video series premieres on June 17th! The series is led by showrunners Jenny Han (who also wrote the pilot), and Gabrielle Stanton. Han, Stanton, as well as Karen Rosenfelt, serve as Executive Producers along with Hope Hartman, Mads Hansen, and Nne Ebong for wiip. The series is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip.
