Those that have seen Spider-Man: No Way Home probably went crazy in the theaters when Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire appeared all together in the film. Of course with all this great power together, comes great responsibility, and fans kept waiting for all three to do the infamous Spider-Man pointing meme. Even though we kind of got it in the film it just wasn’t all there… until today. Sony Pictures finally gave the fans what they wanted with Holland, Garfield, and Maguire reenacting the meme for the Spider-Man: No Way Home Digital and DVD release dates.

The Spider-Man Meme Brought To Life

Where Did This Meme Come From?

Spider-Man Meme

The spider-man Meme comes from the 1960s Spider-Man cartoon series. In the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon, “Double Identity.” In the episode, a villain attempts to impersonate Spider-Man and both Spider-Men start to point at each other once they confront each other during a robbery.

Now, this scene was recreated in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’s post-credit scene with Spider-Man 2099, but many fans really wanted to see it happen with Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire and to their delight we finally got it!
