The Wilds is Amazon’s Prime Video’s first foray into young adult content. Blending Lord of the Flies with a mystery science experiment, the series quickly became a fan favorite. And shortly after its premiere, the streaming service announced a season 2!

The Wilds follows a group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island. However, as the season goes on, you begin to realize that this was no accident. They’ve all been secretly recruited into an elaborate social experiment – The Dawn of Eve – with the permission of their parents.
I am stoked! I absolutely loved the first season and have been waiting for the season 2 premiere date announcement for a year! Finally, after a scavenger hunt on Instagram, Prive Video reveals that the second season of The Wilds will premiere on Friday, May 6th!
First Look images were also released today giving us a sneak peek of what else the girls face on this mysterious and dangerous island. As well as a glimpse of the boys castaway who will be joining the party in the second season.

Season 2 of The Wilds promises to crank up the drama by revealing that the girls are not the only ones being studied. There is a new set of subjects, an island of teenage boys who also must fight to survive under the watchful eyes of the experiment’s puppet master for The Twilight of Adam.
The Wilds is created and executive produced by Sarah Streicher. Alongside her is showrunner Amy Harris, the late Jamie Tarses, as well as Dylan Clark and Brian Williams with Dylan Clark Productions. The series is also co-produced by Amazon Studios and ABC Signature, part of Disney Television Studios.
