The Wilds is Amazon Prime Video’s first foray into young adult content. The series became one of my top 5 series of 2020 with its blending of Lord of the Flies with a mystery science experiment, The Dawn of Eve.
During the final episodes of season 1, we learn that The Dawn of Eve is not the only experiment going on in this world. And that season 2 will dive into the world of The Twilight of Adam – the all-male island experiment.

In a press release about Season 2, The Wilds promises to crank up the drama! With the reveal of The Twilight of Adam, the girls are not the only ones being studied. There is an island of teenage boys who also must fight in order to survive under the watchful eyes of the experiment’s puppet master.
The Wilds is created and executive produced by Sarah Streicher. Alongside her is showrunner Amy Harris, the late Jamie Tarses, as well as Dylan Clark and Brian Williams with Dylan Clark Productions. The series is also co-produced by Amazon Studios and ABC Signature, part of Disney Television Studios.
