Hey all you cool cats and kittens! You didn’t forget about Tiger King, did you?

Surely, even if you don’t remember all the details of Netflix’s wild docuseries, you remember the core feud between Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. Now, that real-life conflict becomes dramatized in a new Peacock series. (It’s hard to imagine fiction being more dramatic than real life in this case. But I guess we’ll have to check out the show to see everything unfold.)

The aptly named Joe vs. Carole stars John Cameron Mitchell as Joe Exotic and Kate McKinnon as Carole Baskin. The show arrives on Peacock in March, and you can check out a teaser for it below.

Based on the Wondery podcast “Joe Exotic,” this limited series will focus on big cat enthusiast Carole Baskin who learns that fellow exotic animal lover Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel is breeding and using his big cats for profit. She sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous.

Joe vs. Carole comes from showrunner, writer, and executive producer Etan Frankel, who describes the show as “a wild ride.”

“It’s a fun and rich journey into the story of people who live very extreme lives,” said Frankel. “When I took on this project a year and a half ago, I found Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin to be utterly fascinating, and this crazy tale about two big cat lovers quickly became an important story for me to tell. I hope that when people watch Joe vs. Carole  just maybe they’ll see these people that they thought they knew in a brand-new way.”

Joe vs. Carole will include eight hour-long episodes. The limited series begins streaming on Peacock March 3.
