Wildcats! Get ready for the new season of the Disney+ Original Series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series! We’re heading to Summer Camp and tackling Frozen!

What can we expect from season 3 High School Musical: The Musical: The Series?

Season 3 of the highly popular tv series of the High School Musical movie franchise begins production! Every season the show tackles a new musical starting with HSM: The Musical, then Beauty and the Beast, and now we’re headed to Arendelle with Frozen!

However, season 3 won’t take place at East High School this time around. We’re going to summer camp! That’s right. The Junior Season of the series is set at Camp Shallow Lake, a sleepaway camp in California. The Wildcats and their fellow campers stage a high-stakes production of Frozen in order to determine who is “best in snow.”

Not only will the new season feature songs from Frozen, but we can’t let the fact that we’re in summer camp slip us by! There will also be music from Camp Rock and more from the High School Musical film franchise!

But summer camp means new exciting characters to join in the fun and stir up the drama! Joining the OG cast this season include new series regulars, newcomer Adrian Lyles as “Jet,” Camp Shallow Lake’s mysterious new kid. Along with Saylor Bell (“I Didn’t Do It”) as “Maddox,” a bright-eyed, quick-witted “techie,” who always follows the rules.

There also will also be High School Musical film alum Corbin Bleu guest-starring as himself. As well as other icons from Disney Musical Movies, Meg Donnelly (ZOMBIES) as “Val” the camper-turned-Counselor-in-Training/Choreographer. And Jason Earles (Hannah Montana) as “Dewey Wood,” the stone-faced, killjoy of a Camp Director of Camp Shallow Lake.

There’s no official release date set for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Stay tuned to THS for more updates!
