Peacock has announced that their YA series One of Us is Lying will be coming back for a season 2!

ONE OF US IS LYING

Based on the New York Times Best Selling YA Novel of the same name by Karen M. McManus, One of Us is Lying, the series tells the story of five Bayview High students who end up in detection together…only to have four of them walk out alive.

The season 1 finale solved the mystery of Simon’s death while also setting up a 2nd season. Once the mystery is solved, Addy, Cooper, Bronwyn, Nate, and Simon’s BFF get a text message from “Simon Says” who claims to know what happened to Jake.

Lisa Katz, President of scripted content at Peacock, is THRILLED that the book fandom accepted the series.

“We are thrilled that the compelling and binge-worthy first season of One of Us Is Lying resonated so strongly with our YA audience. The fandom behind the series is incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to deliver more twists and turns that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.”
