Anyone wondering when Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out will finally get its launch date? Well, you can stop wondering. Klei Entertainment has a date for us, and it even comes with a brand new animated short. Check it out below:

Spaced Out All Set for Launch!

I’m getting The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy vibes from this.

In addition to that hilariously animated short above on YouTube, Klei Entertainment also announced this launch date in the Klei Entertainment forums. Both sites announce that Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out will launch right on December 16, 2021. The DLC will land in both Steam, Epic Games Store, and WeGame (at a later date), so you can decide which store you want to buy from.

No matter which store you buy Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out from though, the price remains the same at $12.99. All in all, it’s not that expensive a DLC for what’s essentially a new game. Although if you’re looking for a free game, Epic Games Store seems very keen on handing out free games these days. They might be worth a look at a later date, once all the fuss has died down.

Oxygen Not Included: Spaced Out ~ To Buy or Not to Buy?

The little robot says yes.

Because this is a DLC, you need to already own Oxygen Not Included to play Spaced Out. If you already own base game, this might be the DLC for you, especially considering that this is the only DLC for it (aside from the soundtrack). Even if you don’t, well, if you like a sci-fi survival game that lets you play God with your colonists in hilariously deadly ways, check it out. You might find something new to love.
