It’s been quite a wait for fans who got hooked on the first season of Euphoria. But now that wait is almost over. The second season premieres on HBO January 9!

We even have a new teaser to celebrate. Get your first look at season 2 of Euphoria below.

In Euphoria, amidst the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss, and addiction.

The teaser features Rue dancing around with a pillow partner, singing Frank Sinatra’s “Call Me Irresponsible.” From this goofy, lighthearted scene, the teaser cuts quickly to a series of intense moments.

“When you’re younger, everything feels so permanent,” Rue’s voiceover warns. “But as you get older, you begin to realize nothing is. And everyone you love can drift away.”

Zendaya won an Emmy for her work on the first season of the show. She will be joined in season 2 by regular cast members Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, and Austin Abrams.

Euphoria comes from creator, writer, and director Sam Levinson.

The eight-episode second season will premiere Sunday, January 9 on HBO. It will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
