Psych is back on Peacock! Well, they’ve been back for a while with a pair of full-length films. This time though, they have a third, and Gus finally gets a starring role. Peacock even has a brand new trailer for us below:

On their panel at New York Comic-Con 2021, Peacock is proud to announce Psych 3: This is Gus with the trailer above. This will be the third Psych TV film after Psych: The Movie and Psych 2: Lassie Come Home. Peacock will apparently stream this third film on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The premiere will take place exclusively on their streaming platform, so if you want to watch Shawn and Gus’s latest antics on the small screen, check it out on Peacock on that date.

Peacock has more for us about Psych 3: This is Gus than the release date. They also have a synopsis, which serves as a nice teaser for the TV film. The official synopsis from Peacock goes as follows:

PSYCH 3: THIS IS GUS is the latest installment in the adventures of one of television’s most beloved duos. In preparation for a shotgun wedding before the birth of Baby Guster, Shawn and Groomzilla Gus go rogue in an attempt to track down Selene’s estranged husband, as Lassiter grapples with the future of his career.”

In addition, Peacock also has a list of returning cast for Psych 3: This is Gus. As you can expect James Roday and Dulé Hill will return as Shawn Spencer and Burton “Gus” Guster respectively. However, we’ll also see other ensemble stars return to play their roles. The full list is as follows:

  • James Roday Rodriguez (A Million Little Things) as Shawn Spencer
  • Dulé Hill (The Wonder Years) as Burton “Gus” Guster
  • Timothy Omundson (This Is Us) as Carlton Lassiter
  • Maggie Lawson (Lethal Weapon) as Juliet “Jules” O’Hara
  • Kirsten Nelson (Versus) as Chief Karen Vick
  • Jazmyn Simon (Raising Dion) as Selene
  • Corbin Bernsen (LA Law) as Henry Spencer

In addition, Allen Maldonado (Black-ish) will join the cast as Alan Decker: Selene’s estranged husband. Sage Brocklebank and Kurt Fuller will also return as Buzz McNab and Woody Strode respectively. Finally, Curt Smith will make a cameo appearance as himself in Psych 3: This is Gus.
