“In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”

Unfortunately, Harrison Ford has been no stranger to on set injures while reprising some of our favorite characters. In 2016 Ford reprising his role as Rick Deckard, injured his hand when he accidentally punched Ryan Gosling in the face during the filming of Blade Runner. Also back in 2014 Ford reprising his role as Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens broke his leg when a hydraulic door closed on it.

Let’s just hope this is a minor injury and wish Harrison Ford a speedy recovery. Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to release in theaters on July 28, 2022. We will have more on this story as it develops.
