Sandra Oh Summer will start a week earlier on Netflix. The Chair will now premiere August 20.

Netflix previously announced the comedy series premiere as August 27. The six episode series stars Oh as Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim, newly appointed Chair of the English department at Pembroke University. The Chair shows the unique challenges Dr. Kim faces as the first woman to chair the department, and as one of the few staff members of color at the university.

The series also stars Jay Duplass as Professor Bill Dobson; Holland Taylor as Professor Joan Hambling; Bob Balaban as Professor Elliot Rentz; Nana Mensah as Professor Yaz McKay; David Morse as Dean Paul Larson; and Everly Carganilla as Ju-Hee “Ju Ju” Kim.

Along with the updated premiere date, Netflix dropped some new photos from the series. Take a look at The Chair below:

Amanda Peet serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Oh also executive produces, along with Game of Thrones alums David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Daniel Gray Longino directs each episode.
