Have you ever watched Aladdin and thought, I sure wish this genie was a dragon instead? Well, wish granted.

Check out the trailer for the new Sony animated feature Wish Dragon.

Ok, it’s not exactly Aladdin, but there are plenty of similarities. (The wish-granting entity trapped for millennia in a spouted object… A girl and a boy separated by social class and circumstance… You get the picture.)

Here’s the official description of Wish Dragon from Netflix:

In Sony Pictures Animation’s Wish Dragon, Din, a working-class college student with big dreams but small means, and Long, a cynical but all-powerful dragon capable of granting wishes, set off on a hilarious adventure through modern day Shanghai in pursuit of Din’s long-lost childhood friend, Lina. Their journey forces them to answer some of life’s biggest questions – because when you can wish for anything, you have to decide what really matters.

The voice cast includes John Cho, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jimmy Wong, Constance Wu, Will Yun Lee, Jimmy O. Yang, Aaron Yoo, Bobby Lee, and Ronnie Chieng. Chris Appelhans serves as writer/director. Producers include Aron Warner, Chris Bremble, and Jackie Chan.

Wish Dragon premieres on Netflix June 11.
