A Quiet Place was a revelation. We’ve waited for awhile (thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic) for the sequel. We’ve seen delays, and and finally, we’re reaching the end. A Quiet Place Part II is coming to theaters, Dolby Cinema, and IMAX this May 28th, 2021. So while it’s been a long wait, this final trailer shows that it’s well worth it. It stars Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Djimon Hounsou. The film was written and directed by John Krasinski and based on characters created by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck.

The official synopsis goes like this:

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

In addition to the trailer we also got a featurette about the film titled “The Wait Is Over”.

Be ready to get just as terrified as you were during the first one when A Quiet Place Part II releases on May 28th.
