In a time where most things that we have enjoyed for years have been canceled because of COVID-19, it was nice this past weekend to get back to a little bit of normalcy at ICCC in Nashville Tennessee. I will admit on my drive there I kept thinking to myself, “Was this a good thing to do?” I thought this, even more, when I heard that guests Spencer Wilding, Jimmy Vee, and Michael Biehn canceled. Really I just didn’t know what to expect going back to my first convention since C2E2 in February of 2020. When I pulled up to the convention it was like normal, I never get there soon enough to find a good spot, so that meant the people came. So after spending three days at ICCC, here are my thoughts.

So overall as you can tell by my little review of ICCC it was worth it. The actors that were there were amazing. Many times they came out to the floor and interacted with the guests and vendors. The Boba Fett actors Daniel Logan, Mark Anthony Austin, and Dickey Beer even had a little dinner with some of their fans. Even Star Wars actor Stephen Costantino (Gamorrean Guard) rocked out for fans with some live music during the convention. Also with artists like Kevin Cleveland (badge artist), Andrew Perkins, and Jeremiah Miah Pantoja, and vendors such as Norse Legion, My2DHeroes.com, and the Music City Geeks there was something for everyone Hell, we all got to see a marriage proposal there as well. For the hand that convention showrunner Michael Havens was given because of COVID-19, he did an amazing job. I will definitely be back next year.
