The new season of Netflix’s Castlevania will be its last. The 10-episode fourth season set to air next month will conclude the series.

Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy that follows Trevor (Richard Armitage), the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, who is trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes (Graham McTavish). But Trevor no longer is alone, and now he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save humanity from extinction at the hands of the grief-maddened Dracula and his sinister vampire war council.

Castlevania

Netflix turned Castlevania into its first original anime series back in 2017. The series is based on the classic Konami video game. The show quickly nabbed a following (and a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score).

But if you’re one of Castlevania’s many fans, don’t give up hope just yet. Deadline reports Netflix is considering a new series set in the same universe. (This would feature an entirely new cast of characters.) No solid plans have been announced yet, but we’ll keep you updated on any developments.

The fourth and final season of Netflix’s Castlevania premieres May 13.
