Michelle Gomez returns to DCTV with a role in the upcoming season of Doom Patrol.

Gomez will appear in season 3 as Madame Rouge, “a complicated and electrifying eccentric who arrives at Doom Manor with a very specific mission, if only she could remember it.” In the comics, Madame Rouge is a leading member of the Brotherhood of Evil.

Gomez previously appeared on the Batman prequel series Gotham. She’s well known for playing charmingly evil roles in genre TV. Gomez played Madam Satan/Lilith in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. And of course, she also portrayed Missy on Doctor Who.

The actor recently starred in HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant. Since Doom Patrol shifted to the same platform, it looks like Gomez is staying in the HBO family.

Doom Patrol started as a DC Universe original series. But with DC Universe moving out of original programming, season 3 of the series will stream exclusively on HBO Max. The show follows “DC’s strangest group of heroes.” Those heroes include Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor aka Negative Man, Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder aka the Chief, Diane Guerrero as Jane aka Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman and Joivan Wade as Victor Stone aka Cyborg.

So, are you excited to see Gomez take on her next villainous role? What are you looking forward to in Doom Patrol season 3? Let us know in the comments.
