The clip features an exclusive look at the creation of Raya and the Last Dragon from Tran’s perspective. She takes fans on a tour of the voiceover booth she set up to record at home. You can also see her reaction to watching the film’s trailer for the first time.
“I can’t wait for you guys to see this,” she tells fans.
Tran also reveals how excited she was to become an official Disney princess.
“I’m realizing I might have always been a Disney kid,” Tran joked, panning the camera to reveal her collection of Disney VHS tapes. (Plus a Little Mermaid bedspread and a picture of herself dressed as Snow White.)
Raya and the Last Dragon takes viewers on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra. Raya, a lone warrior, must track down the legendary last dragon to stop an evil force that has returned after 500 years to once again threaten her homeworld.
The film premieres in select theaters on March 5. You can also stream it on Disney+ with Premier Access for $29.99.
