[Warning: contains mild spoilers for The Mandalorian, Chapter 12.] Anytime something new pops up in Star Wars, expect merchandising. And Lots of it. You can even get a Star Wars flamethrower! (Okay, sort of, not really.) However, when new products hit the shelves, one would expect the toy companies like Hasbro Pulse, LEGO, or Hot Toys to be front and center. Maybe even some apparel companies, like Her Universe. After the latest episode of The Mandalorian, however, there was an unexpected entry into the pre-holiday merchandising frenzy: Williams Sonoma. Yes, that’s right, the upscale kitchen wares company is all in with Nevarro Nummies.

Confused? Here’s how it all came to be: In Chapter 12 of The Mandalorian, Din Djarin leaves the Child in school so he can talk business with Cara Dune and Greef Carga. While there, good ol’ Baby Yoda spots another student eating some blue space macarons. Adorably, he asks for some. When he’s rebuffed, though, the little sh… er, guy Force-grabs the cookies from the other boy’s desk. The moment was cute and humorous, and as a result we now have Nevarro Nummies.

Inspired by a sweet moment when a young Nevarro student debated sharing his treats with the Child, 21st-century artisans in California have created these ethereal French-style almond macarons capturing the essence of this scene with Nevarro Nummies ™. For authentic galactic flavor, each exquisite treat is artfully hand-piped with a rich, creamy vanilla filling.”

Hey, we can’t blame Williams Sonoma for getting in on the action. Who doesn’t like a good macaron? And in the grand scheme of things, the price isn’t as outrageous as you might think. For $49.95 you get a dozen of Nevarro Nummies. Considering any good bakery usually charges upwards of $2.00 apiece for a quality macaron, it’s not too bad a price for a whimsical, Star Wars treat.

Just beware: don’t eat too many and then fly into a dogfight with TIE fighters. You’re likely to get sick.
