Brush up on your survival skills. It’s time to visit (yet another) deserted island with Amazon’s The Wilds.

Check out the trailer for the upcoming drama below.

The Wilds looks to me like Lost meets an all-female Lord of the Flies. Amazon describes the series as “part survival drama, part dystopic slumber party.” Here’s the official synopsis from the streamer:

The Wilds follows a group of teen girls from different backgrounds who must fight for survival after a plane crash strands them on a deserted island. The castaways both clash and bond as they learn more about each other, the secrets they keep, and the traumas they’ve all endured. There’s just one twist to this thrilling drama… these girls did not end up on this island by accident.

The YA series comes from showrunner/EP Amy B. Harris (Sex and the City) and creator/EP Sarah Streicher (Daredevil).

If The Wilds trailer caught your attention, but you don’t have Prime, you can still catch the premiere for free. When the premiere airs on December 11, it will be available for free on Amazon.com. Plus, the episode will appear on the Amazon Prime social channels from December 11 to December 25.

The rest of the ten-episode season will air exclusively on Amazon for Prime subscribers.
