Now this one is a bit of a confusing web of secrecy from LucasFilm. Deadline is reporting that The Mandalorian season three is not only in pre-production, but likely to start production at some point in November/December or early next year. That’s a rough schedule but what’s more exciting than that is also from the same article. Now, the world saw Boba Fett at the end of Chapter 9 of The Mandalorian.

What is now known, is that LucasFilm wants to continue their plans of a Boba Fett miniseries. That miniseries is reportedly starting production next week or in the coming month. The level of secrecy coming from LucasFilm is no surprise. It’s a very interesting development because they had a plan for Boba Fett earlier in the decade.

Around the time that Solo was in development, it was in tandem with a Boba Fett show. After the disappointment of Solo, that was shelved in favor of The Mandalorian. There are plenty of other Star Wars projects in the pipeline for fans, but this one might be the most surprising so far. It seems like it’s only been a short time since we saw the return of Fett. But Disney was likely planning this for months since the production of season two of The Mandalorian.

We’ll keep you updated on this story as it develops.
