Where’s my PS5? Here’s my PS5!

Sony finally drops the PS5’s release date as November 12, 2020. It’s not quite a Christmas release, but it’s close. It’s also well within the usual time Sony release the PlayStation consoles, so nothing has changed there.

PS5 Prices Finally Released!

The pricing is what gets us excited though. The PS5 comes in two versions: a digital-only version, and one that has an actual Blu-ray/DVD disc drive in it.

The Digital Edition will retail at $399.99, and the PlayStation 5 (with ultra HD Blu-ray Disc drive) will be priced at $499.99. This confirms earlier rumors that Sony was giving the PS5 versions this pricing following Microsoft’s earlier dropping of their Xbox Series prices.

Conclusion

The PS5 will be released on November 12, 2020; and the prices will be $400 and $500 for the digital version and disc drive version respectively. Tune it later for more news as this story develops.
