After Black Widow was unfortunately delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were left without a release date for the Phase 4 Marvel film. Now the film will release on November 6th, 2020. This date is particularly important. Not because it has any significance in the story of the film, but because it was Marvel’s The Eternals release date. That means that The Eternals is now without a release date.

Black Widow might or might not have had huge ramifications in the overall arc of the MCU. The Eternals definitely will have them. So for Disney to move that release date is a huge deal. People were worried about what was going to happen with the tight schedule that Marvel and Disney have for their films. This is our answer. Black Widow will not be going straight to Disney+ either as many were hoping, including David Harbour.

You can see the “final” trailer for the film right here. This is an unfortunate development for the movie business in general. But we’re all going to have to take it on as a collective. The pandemic sweeping the world is something that’s put going out on hold. This just means we’ll have a jam-packed release schedule for the fall months. Hopefully we won’t have to see more delays if there is a second wave of COVID-19 in the fall and winter.
