The trailer for Season 3 of the HBO series Westworld, has arrived. The trailer for Season 3 picks up where Season 2 left off. Westworld is the epic story of Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) Dolores Abernathy is a synthetic person created for the amusement of wealthy humans who visit the resort. She is the oldest host still working in the park and by the end of Season 1 she is quite self-aware.

What to Expect in ‘Westworld’ Season 3

What does the new trailer reveal for the next season of Westworld?  It appears to give us a darker look at the future and A.I. technology. Additionally, there appears to be outside of the main park of Westworld. Maeve (Thandie Newton) has clearly returned, as the end of Season 2 saw her sacrificing herself. The trailer’s tone is set by the somber piano interpretation of Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N’ Roses. Clearly the biggest theme is that an epic battle is about unfold between Delores and Maeve.

The new season of Westworld will introduce several new faces to the cast. This will include Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Vincent Cassel (Ocean’s Twelve), Kid Cudi (Need for Speed), Marshawn Lynch (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), John Gallagher Jr. (The Newsroom), Michael Ealy (The Intruder), and Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy).
