See Mulan Sneak Peek Here At That Hashtag Show!

Disney has just released a sneak peek at the new Mulan trailer. And with a new full length trailer set to drop straight after the Super Bowl on the 2nd of February, Mulan fans are sure in for a treat this weekend! But… you don’t have to wait for the big game. I love the fact that in this day and age we have trailers for the trailers! It sure does build up the anticipation and hype. And after watching the above sneak peek I have to say I can’t wait. Despite many fans bemoaning the lack of Mushu, comedy and musical numbers, it looks like Niki Caro more then makes up for it with stunning visuals and fight sequences. Above all, the sneak peek looks intensely exciting.

The animation was fun and the songs brilliant but sometimes overshadowed the story and transformation Mulan goes through. Her quest to protect her family and become a great warrior seems far more intense in the live action trailers and posters we have seen so far. Hopefully Niki Caro has put her own stamp on the tale of Hua Mulan, rather then simply retelling the original 1998 animation.

Mulan is set to be released on the 27th March. Moreover, if this sneak peek is anything to go by, it sure looks like it will be worth a watch. Stay tuned here to That Hashtag for all your Disney and Mulan news as we get closer to the release date!
