Unfortunately, we still have a little over 10 weeks to wait until Disney+ and the series The Mandalorian premier in November. A new picture from Entertainment Weekly gives us another sneak peek while we wait though. Take a look of at the bounty hunter fighting the pair or Trandoshans below:

While many Star Wars fans may be very familiar with Trandoshans, let’s clear up where we’ve seen them before. If you remember back to The Empire Strikes Back, we had our first look at this reptilian-looking species. During the scene when Darth Vader was speaking with all the bounty hunters, including Boba Fett there was also a Trandoshan bounty hunter present named Bossk.

Countdown to The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian will be a new Disney+ series premiering the same day the streaming services launches. The events of the show will take place in-between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Jon Favreau (The Lion King) and Dave Filoni (The Clone Wars) are the series showrunners. The show will star Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Carl Weathers (Rocky), Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) and Ming-Na Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).

Bossk, a Trandoshan, featured on an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

If you want to learn more about Trandoshan before The Mandalorian airs, in particular Bossk you can check his other Star Wars appearances. Beyond his original trilogy appearance and numerous appearances in novels and comic books he has also appeared on screen several times. Star Wars: The Clone Wars featured many episodes with the bounty hunter Bossk. Bossk was also featured in the Star Wars: Rebels novel Ezra’s Gamble.

Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ and The Mandalorian both premier on November 12.
