This year is looking to be an exciting year for Star Wars fans. We’ve got Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Galaxy’s Edge and even a new video game STAR WARS JEDI: Fallen Order. We are even getting our first live-action Star Wars show, The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian, Season 2

Well Star Wars fans the good news just keeps coming. According to a report from Discussing Film, Disney and Lucasfilm are ready to start a second season of The Mandalorian. But that’s not all it looks like they are bringing Jon Favreau back to work on it as well!

I mean does this really surprise anyone? The reaction The Mandalorian got at STAR WARS: Celebration was unreal. Without even one episode aired yet, you could just tell this show is going to be a fan favorite. While some fans got the teaser trailer, others that were at the panel got to see an actual clip from the series. Both clips gave you that wild west feeling that looks to be full of action.

The Mandalorian: Synopsis

What we do know is that The Mandalorian will take place five years after the STAR WARS: Return of the Jedi and before the emergence of the First Order. Here is the synopsis of the series:

“The travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic. After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.”
