#3: Rose

Rose, prior to joining the Overdrive team, was in the midst of building her very own robot at a University lab located in London. She was also writing a paper on Advanced Nuclear Robotics Science, and took a year of Ancient Universal Legends at Harvard. Rose has encyclopedic knowledge regarding almost any subject, from geography to the Overdrive equipment. But… due to all this Rose had to grow up quickly because of her high intelligence. While skipping most grades in school and starting college at eight years old, Rose didn’t have much of a childhood.

#2: Cam

Son of the Wind Academy and nephew of the evil general/brother of Sensei Watanabe, Cam is very intelligent. Hayley references his smarts in the 500th episode of Power Rangers Dino Thunder. She notes that he’s a better computer whiz than she is, despite the fact that she attended graduate school. Don’t forget she is, after all, (among other things) a rocket scientist. Cam is even responsible for all of the Wind Rangers’ tech, having constructed all the power spheres, Zords and weapons for the Rangers to use in battle. He even created a holographic version of himself dubbed ‘Cyber Cam” to take on all the day-to-day running of the dojo and maintenance of the equipment. If that doesn’t scream smart I don’t know what does.

Smartest Power Rangers #1: Billy

The first Ranger who was to fans a stereotypical “nerd.” Billy was part of Angel Grove High’s science club and often helped its younger members with their experiments. He would speak in such high intelligence that, without Trini translating him, the Rangers would be lost to what he’s saying. Billy has a vast intelligence and throughout the series he sought out to improve himself physically and mentally. He transitioned from the suspenders-wearing “brain” to a confident, hyper-intelligent athlete with appreciable fighting skills. His intelligence was so vast that he actually graduated High School early in Zeo, when he learned that he’d accumulated enough credits to graduate from Angel Grove High. Billy’s intelligence would also help the Rangers save the world on many occasions. Of the smartest Power Rangers, Billy is the hands-down number 1.
