The Avengers: Endgame trailer showed us Tony Stark stranded in space but we know that Tony will eventually make it back to Earth so the big question is who’s gonna save him?

Well, if Audi is to be believed, it looks like Rocket Raccoon will be Iron Man’s savior.

At the Consumer Electronics Show, Audi revealed “Rocket’s Rescue Run’, an “in-car VR experience” developed by Disney Games and Interactive Experiences. The demo consisted of a participant sitting in the backseat of an Audi E-Tron circling a Las Vegas racetrack but inside the Oculus Rift headset strapped to the rider’s head was a virtual reality game where the rider helped Rocket Raccoon navigate an asteroid field, shoot at bad guys in spaceships, and save Iron Man.

Now, it should be noted that The Verge is the one who confirmed that the demo involves saving Iron Man but they described it as:

“Iron Man needs help. He’s being chased through outer space by some of Thanos’ baddies, so Rocket Raccoon and I rush to his aid. We make a few jumps using the Universal Neural Teleportation Network, and a few rollicking minutes later, I’ve helped blast the enemies to bits.”

So, that’s not an exact description of how we last saw Tony Stark in the trailer but it does raise the incredibly probable point that Rocket Raccoon is the most logical character to save Tony and Nebula in Endgame.

After the Infinity War showdown with Thanos on the planet Titan, Tony and Nebula were the only heroes to survive ‘The Snappening’. The two have made it off Titan by taking refuge on the Guardians Of The Galaxy’s ship, The Benatar. Rocket is the sole surviving member of the Guardians which means he’s extremely familiar with the ship but he’s also the only surviving MCU hero with technical genius which almost all but guarantees that he’ll know how to track and find The Benatar.

Avengers: Endgame will debut in theaters on April 26, 2019.
