Sad news for the world of wrestling as one of the great wrestlers of the 1980’s, The Dynamite Kid, has passed away.  Today was his 60th birthday.

His work as a junior heavyweight in New Japan Pro Wrestling against the original Tiger Mask is fantastic, and must see.  As a kid, I remember loving the British Bulldogs vs. The Dream Team from WrestleMania II.  He and Davey Boy Smith worked so well together, and could have fantastic matches with any tag team on any roster.  Who knows how much the legend of Dynamite would have grown if he was not forced to retire at the age of 38.  For reference, that would be like if Samoa Joe retired a year ago or if AJ Styles had retired right before his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble.
