In case you’ve ever wondered exactly what the world of a stuntman looks like, The Fall Guy is it. The movie tells the story of Colt Seavers (played by Ryan Gosling), who’s a stuntman who gets drawn into a case of murder and a movie going off the rails. It also stars Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke. However, the people behind those stars, the stunt performers are really at center stage here. Ben Jenkins was one of the stuntmen on the set of The Fall Guy.

We had the opportunity to chat with Ben about his role in the film, some of his favorite stunts, and how the Academy is snubbing stunt performers at the year-end awards. He was a great conversation and he made news for all his stunt-filled escapades during the promotion of The Fall Guy.

For anyone who’s been down on their luck, who’s been kicked around by people in power, who’s had a horrific accident, who’s worked for a gigantic douchebag, The Fall Guy is for you. It’s the perfect blend of action and rom-com with more than a dash of high-octane stunts that should satisfy almost any audience member. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt have immaculate chemistry in their roles that helps catapult The Fall Guy into the upper pantheon of action films.
