Marvel Studios has been busy lately. They broke the internet at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 with the announcements of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Now they’re bringing out trailers for their upcoming slate of 2025 films starting with Captain America: Brave New World. The film opens in theaters on February 14th, 2025.

The new trailer shows off the longest look we’ve had at the film so far. It has plenty of action and also some of the trademark intrigue and conspiracy we’ve seen surrounding this era of Marvel.

Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World follows Sam Wilson, who after meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth serve as executive producers.

The newest trailer for Captain America: Brave New World looks like some of the past action we’ve seen in films like The Winter Soldier or Civil War. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, because those are two of the best MCU films ever. The Red Hulk looks like he’ll be a massive problem. Anthony Mackie has been so great for so long in the MCU, it’s high time to see him shine as Captain America.

We’ll have to see how the film turns out when it releases in February.
