Do you all remember when Gremlins became an animated fantasy adventure horror comedy series on HBO MAX? That was back in May 23, 2023; and with a 10-episode season to boot. Best of all, it received rave reviews from critics. Rotten Tomatoes reported a 100% approval rating over 20 reviews, with an average of 8.5 out of 10. Even audiences gave it 83% over about 50 ratings, which isn’t a whole lot, but it does suggest it’s a good show. Honestly, it looks like we have a worthy prequel to that 1984 film that spawned the franchise here.
Fortunately, HBO MAX does recognize that. Why else do you think that they post a first-look clip from the upcoming second season of Gremlins? Don’t believe me? Then why not check out that clip from Gremlins: The Wild Batch below, and see if this blend of horror and comedy is for you?
Gremlins: The Wild Batch ~ Details
HBO MAX (aka. MAX) is proud to unveil a first-look clip for their upcoming Gremlins: The Wild Batch on YouTube. This will be the second season of the Gremlins animated TV series from showrunner Tze Chun (I’m a Virgo) along with Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Animation. At least, when it finally makes its debut, which will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Just like with Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai though, this second season will be a MAX exclusive. Thus, just like with that first season, you can watch this upcoming season season only on MAX.
Bonus: Logline
That’s not all, folks! MAX also has the official logline for Gremlins: The Wild Batch to tease the plot of this second season. You can read it below:
