The Power Rangers are all set to return to outer space in the upcoming Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. In fact, they’re so eager that they’ve just revealed when they’ll finally make their launch into the stars. Even better, an old friend will be joining them when they do so. Who is that old friend, you might ask? Well, fans of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers might be just a bit familiar with the name David Yost. Don’t believe me? Then read on below:

Hasbro has just announced when we’re finally going to get to see Power Rangers Cosmic Fury in action. Apparently, this latest installment in the Power Rangers franchise will make its debut on September 29, 2023. However, this debut will be on Netflix only, since it is a Netflix exclusive after all. Alas, Netflix themselves don’t have a link to this particular series yet. The best we can give you for now is all the other Power Rangers series on Netflix, including the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Speaking of which, Hasbro also has another announcement for Power Rangers Cosmic Fury that will be of great interest to fans of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Apparently, David Yost will make his return to Power Rangers with this latest series. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fans will recall that he was the original Blue Ranger in that very first Power Rangers series. In fact, Yost will return to reprise his original role as Billy Cranston to assist the new Rangers in fighting the escaped Lord Zedd.
