The hit zombie horror-comedy manga Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead by writer Haro Aso and artist Kotaro Takata will soon get an anime adaptation. It’s quite fitting really, since the manga did get an Eisner Award nomination in 2022, even if it sadly didn’t win. Thankfully, that’s the only bad news we have for you for today. For that anime adaptation will soon reach NA shores, specifically for a pair of streaming services: Hulu and Netflix. However, only a single one of them will simulcast it for some bizarre reason. Which one will it be? Well, let’s find out, shall we?
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead ~ The Happily Gory Details
Viz Media is proud to announce the exact date for when Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead will hit NA shores. Specifically: for when it will hit Hulu. Apparently, the anime will make its NA debut on that streaming platform on July 9, 2023, at 2:00 AM (PDT). This will make the anime‘s Hulu debut occur in a simulcast with its Japanese debut.
Unfortunately, we have no word from Viz Media when Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead will stream on Netflix. All we know is that it’s coming to Netflix, and that’s it. Release details will come later. All we can say at this point is that it’s probably not a simulcast as is the case with Hulu. Tune back into THS on that later to find that out when we do.
