It seems only a short while ago that SIGONO released the Full Bloom Edition of their hit science fantasy adventure video game OPUS: Echo of Starsong. Now it seems though that this indie developer is embarking on a new project called OPUS: Prism Peak. They’ve even released a new teaser trailer to celebrate the occasion. Don’t believe me? Then why don’t you check out that teaser trailer for yourself below?

A New Snap Adventure Awaits?!

I can already tell the onion ninjas are going to show up at some point in this game.

SIGONO (via Steam) is proud to announce OPUS: Prism Peak with the teaser trailer above on their official YouTube channel. This game marks the 4th installment in their OPUS series of science fiction/science fantasy adventure games (consisting of OPUS: The Day We Found Earth, OPUS: Rocket of Whispers, and OPUS: Echo of Starsong). It’s difficult to tell if this game fits in the aforementioned genres, or if it’s pure fantasy this time around. What’s clear from the teaser trailer though is that it looks like it’s going to be an even more polished game than OPUS: Echo of Starsong.

The teaser trailer for OPUS: Prism Peak introduces us to an unnamed girl seen through the lens of a camera. The girl is initially snoozing on a seemingly abandoned sofa in the middle of some train tracks (not a good idea in real life). However, she’s soon awoken by a bizarre sight: a glowing blue butterfly fluttering around her, trailing ethereal sparkles. The girl attempts to catch it, but it just explodes into more sparkles when touched. The also-unnamed photographer then zooms in on the girl’s face and snaps her picture when she turns back to look at them. The teaser trailer then cuts to the game’s tagline, which consists of the cryptic “Capture the moment, then learn to let go”. What does this mean? Well, we’ll presumably find out when the game releases.

OPUS: Prism Peak ~ Release Details?

"OPUS: Prism Peak" key art.
Yup, just waiting for those onion ninjas to sneak through those rice fields.

Unfortunately, that won’t be for a while yet. OPUS: Prism Peak currently has no release date, so we have no idea when SIGONO is going to release it. To find that out, you can wishlist the game on Steam and follow it to get the latest news on it. Or you can tune back into THS to find out about that release date when we do.
