Supernatural may have finally come to an end, but the universe will live on. The CW prequel series The Winchesters will arrive this fall. And now, we have our first look at the series.
During The CW’s upfronts presentation, the network revealed the first official poster for the The Winchesters. The poster features Meg Donnelly as Mary Campbell and Drake Rodger as John Winchester. Check it out below.
The poster looks like… well, pretty much exactly like what you expect a CW series poster to look like. Rodger and Donnelly look over their shoulders in the foreground. Behind them, we can see a spooky-looking manor house. The poster also features the official Winchesters logo, marked by a red symbol.
The new show follows the parents of brothers Dean and Sam, who hunted down supernatural dangers in the long-running CW series Supernatural. Told from Dean’s perspective, The Winchesters follows Mary and John’s love story and fight to save the world.
The Winchesters is one of just three new shows joining The CW’s 2022-2023 slate. The series joins another prequel series, Walker: Independence, and DC series Gotham Knights.
During The CW upfronts, the network also announced long-running series Riverdale would end with its upcoming seventh season.
So, what do you think of this first look at The Winchesters? Will you check out this Supernatural prequel? Let us know in the comments below.
