I Know What You Did Last Summer… New Series Streams On Prime Video This October

The original novel I Know What You Did Last Summer based on the 1973 novel, became a movie in 1997, and is now an Amazon Prime series. Sara Goodman handles writing and executive producing the series. The synopsis for the new series is pretty similar to the old movie:

One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer. As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly. 

The series stars Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, and Brooke Bloom.

The first four episodes premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, October 15th. New episodes air every Friday following that. It’ll be interesting to see how a slasher movie like this spreads out over the course of a series.
