The release schedule for the next couple months of Marvel is jam-packed. We’ve already had WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and Black Widow. We’re still waiting on movies like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now we know when Hawkeye is coming to Disney+. The Clint Barton centered show comes to Disney+ on November 24th.

The show stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld and Entertainment Weekly had the first image from the upcoming show. So thanks to them for the image. We haven’t seen Clint Barton since the events of Avengers: Endgame. Like some of the other Marvel characters that needed some more shine, Hawkeye has always been a central character, but we haven’t had a story central to him before. This new show is his chance to show what he’s really made of.

Hailee Steinfeld plays Kate Bishop on the show. In the comics Barton trains her to become the next Hawkeye. In his interview with EW, Renner described their relationship like this:

Kate is a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan. She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.

Also starring in the show are: Vera Farmiga, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy, and Fre Fee. If you want to prepare for Hawkeye, Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye series is a perfect one to start. It’s one of the best runs for the character in his comic book history.

Watch Hawkeye on Disney+ this November 24th, 2021.
