LEGO really likes doing crossovers with other series, and why wouldn’t they? The results are always absolutely adorable, and this new Sesame Street set is no exception.

LEGO is the perfect way to get to Sesame Street.

This LEGO 123 Sesame Street set came about through LEGO’s own LEGO Ideas website, which allows fans to submit their own designs for new LEGO sets. In this case, we have Filipino fan designer Ivan Guerrero to thank for bringing us this adorable new set to build.

The LEGO 123 Sesame Street set is technically for adults 18 and older. However, due to its nature, it’s entirely possible to build it with your kids. Just remember that these small parts are a choking hazard. Thus, it’s a good idea to make sure your kids are old enough to help you with it. You know, without trying to eat a piece.

Warning, Darth Vader is a choking hazard.
I find your meta humor disturbing.

How to Get to LEGO Sesame Street

Uh, they might want to think about altering that opening image. A headless Big Bird is slightly disturbing.

Speaking of LEGO pieces, the 123 Sesame Street set comes with 1367 pieces total. The whole set, when fully assembled, measures 9.4″ (23.9 cm) tall, 14.2″ (36.1 cm) wide, and 8.2″ (20.8 cm) deep. This means that you’ll need to make sure you have a big table to set this on.

Wait, is that sign a Hooters refence?!

The list of minifigures for this LEGO 123 Sesame Street set include Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie (our favorite couple), and that garbage can monster named a relatively normal Oscar (the Grouch). There are even mini-minifigures of Slimey the Worm, Elmo’s little goldfish (named Dorothy), Radar the Teddy Bear (M*A*S*H reference?!), and a Rubber Ducky to complete the lineup.

Okay, why does Oscar look so adorably round here?

You can purchase the LEGO 123 Sesame Street set from LEGO’s own website for a grand total of $119.99. Or rather, you will as soon as it comes out on November 1, 2020. In the meantime, you can add it to your wishlist for when it does eventually come out in…oh, just over a week as of this writing. Not too long to wait now, is it?

Conclusion

The LEGO 123 Sesame Street set will be available on November 1, 2020 from LEGO’s own website for “only” $119.99. To be fair, you are paying for a rather large LEGO set with custom-made minifigures. Your wallet might cry for mercy, but if you really like LEGO, this is likely a keeper.
