More Nobody Wants This is officially on the way! The Netflix series announced production started on season 2 of the series today.

The romantic comedy series, led by Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, will return later this year with new episodes. 

Here’s the show’s season 1 synopsis from Netflix:

“An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out — together — the unlikely pair, Joanne (Bell) and Noah (Brody), can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families — including her sister Morgan and his brother Sasha.”

Nobody Wants This comes from creator Erin Foster and showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. Bell and Brody both return in season 2 as series regulars, along with Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn.

Nobody Wants This Season 2 Guest Stars

Netflix also recently revealed a number of guest stars for the upcoming second season.

  • Leighton Meester as “Abby” – Joanne’s (Bell) middle school nemesis who is now an Instagram mommy influencer.
  • Miles Fowler as ” Lenny” – Noah’s (Brody) Matzah Ballers teammate who gets set up with Morgan (Lupe).
  • Alex Karpovsky as “Big Noah” – An overly confident rabbi at Noah’s temple.
  • Arian Moayed as “Dr. Andy” – A charming, highly regarded (particularly by himself) psychotherapist who might just be the perfect match for Morgan.
