It should be clear to everyone by now that anime has gone mainstream. It’s not just the big mainstream anime series like One Piece, Attack on Titan, and My Hero Academia either. Even lesser-known anime series like Fate/stay night are entering the public consciousness. With the knock-on side effect being that not only do more and more people know about anime in general, but it hopefully is less stigmatized than before. Hopefully. At the very least, maybe people won’t see the entire genre as either being kids’ shows or barely disguised erotica. However, those are topics for another day.
It’s getting to the point where even cable TV networks are taking notice of anime now. This includes one particular TV network that normally airs music programs and combat sports programs. None of which has nothing to do with anime. Have you all ever heard of AXS TV? Well, if you have already heard of them, then you and your inner anime fan might be interested in this.
