WWE announced today that Paul “Triple H” Levesque is the first member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. This surprise announcement was made at the WWE headquarters by Triple H’s long-time friends Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.

The King of Kings has come a long way since his era-defining run as co-founder of D-Generation X. He is a 14-time World Champion and has had amazing feuds with a long list of legends that entertained generations of wrestling fans. The list includes The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

During his four-decade career, Triple H conquered almost every major WWE accolade. These include various championships, the King of the Ring Crown, two Royal Rumble wins, and headlined WrestleMania several times. He officially retired from in-ring competition at WrestleMania 38.

TRIPLE H CONTINUES TO CONTRIBUTE OUTSIDE THE RING

Triple H’s contributions continued outside the ring with the creation of NXT. This developmental brand was created to build the future stars of WWE. Along with legends like Shawn Michaels, William Regal, Matt Bloom, and many others, Triple H created a brand that at one point can be argued that started to eclipse RAW and SmackDown. Even forcing the NXT’s brand’s inclusion at Survivor Series in 2019.

Some of today’s biggest WWE stars came out of NXT. Including Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Damian Priest, The War Raiders, The Street Profits, Tiffany Stratton, and many more. NXT continues to thrive under Michaels.

Currently Paul “Triple H” Levesque serves as the Chief Content Officer for WWE. Leading the biggest wrestling brand in the world to a new era with a massive Netflix deal. Allowing the company to thrive and continue to show why he is the “King of Kings”.
