Suicide Squad ISEKAI is quite possibly one of the oddest concepts for a show I’ve seen thus far. Mostly because it’s a combination of two unlikely genres: DC superhero stories (specifically: Suicide Squad) and an isekai anime. In fact, this show is in fact an anime period. Wit Studio (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Ranking of Kings, Spy x Family) is the production company behind it alongside Warner Bros. Japan, so that does make this show an anime. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out Warner Bros.‘s latest official trailer on YouTube for this equally as brand new anime below, and see for yourself what your favorite DC squad of antiheroes and villains look like reincarnated in another world?
Suicide Squad ISEKAI: Details
Warner Bros. Japan is proud to announce exactly when we’ll get to see Suicide Squad ISEKAI in the world-crossing flesh. According to them, this anime will officially make its debut on June 27, 2024. You can watch that premiere only on Hulu, due to this anime being an exclusive there.
Not only that, but that date will see the debut of not one, not two, but three whole episodes of Suicide Squad ISEKAI all at once. New episodes will then premiere weekly after that, and only end on August 15, 2024 at a grand total of 10 episodes. All in all, kind of a short run for an anime, but hopefully, it will be a sweet one.
