GKIDS is proud to announce that they’re bringing Ernest & Celestine: A Trip to Gibberitia to home video at long last. Specifically: they plan to bring this French animated film to us via digital download and Blu-ray. This film will be available to download from all major digital platforms on December 19, 2023. Meanwhile, the Blu-ray version will be available to purchase a month later on January 16, 2023.
In fact, you can preorder Ernest & Celestine: A Trip to Gibberitia right now from either GKIDS or Shout! Factory. Note though that the price is a bit cheaper on GKIDS at $21.98 instead of the $22.99 of Shout! Factory, and that’s with the preorder discount included. So if you want to go the preorder route, then GKIDS might be your go-to option if you’re strapped for cash.
