As we know, Tiana’s Palace at the Disneyland Resort is opening on September 7th! Now, Disney Parks Blog is sharing a first look at the food and beverages that will be offered at the new restaurant.

The restaurant draws inspiration from the animated character’s dream New Orleans eatery. From the Mardi Gras-inspired color palette to the lily details throughout, the restaurant’s elegant decor and interior will include subtle references to Tiana’s story. Keep your eyes peeled to spot frog porcelains, Tiana’s favorite cookbooks, and her father’s gumbo spoon on display.

The Disneyland Resort culinary team sources ingredients directly from Louisiana when possible, in addition to drawing inspiration from the cuisine of the Crescent City. When Tiana’s Palace opens, guests will be able to use the Disneyland app to mobile order food and beverages from this location.

If you’re looking for something with a little more protein, the 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage is a great choice. And of course, no gumbo list would be complete without the House Gumbo, a New Orleans staple made with braised chicken, andouille sausage, and heirloom rice.

If you’re looking for a dish with a little extra kick, try our Cajun Spice Half Chicken. This dish is made with a house-made chicory BBQ sauce and served with baked macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. The combination of flavors is sure to please your taste buds!

If you love shrimp and grits, then you’ll love Tiana’s Gulf Shrimp and Grits! Our shrimp are grilled to perfection and tossed in a flavorful Creole sauce, then served over creamy cheesy grits. This dish is sure to transport you to the bayou with every bite.

HANDHELD OPTIONS

If you are looking for a handheld meal, Tiana has you covered. The Muffuletta Sandwich is a delicious combination of mortadella, salami, rosemary ham, cheddar, provolone, and house-made olive relish on toasted New Orleans sesame seed bread. Another classic is the Beef Po-boy Sandwich, which features slow-cooked beef that is perfectly coated in gravy and topped with shredded lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on toasted New Orleans French bread. Both sandwiches are served with red beans and rice and house-made pickles.

WHO DOESN’T LOVE DELICIOUS COFFEE?

A specialty sip is also on the menu. The Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew topped with sweet cream is a must-try for coffee lovers. It is smooth and refreshing, with a hint of chicory flavor. The Ray Firefly Glow Cube* is also available with the purchase of a beverage. This adorable cube lights up your drink, making it perfect for a night out.

Tiana’s Palace will be a “quick-service” style restaurant. When it opens in September, guests will also be able to mobile-order from the location with the Disneyland app. The grand re-opening will also feature the return of the Mint Julep Bar.

Of course, Tiana’s Palace is just one of the major Princess and the Frog updates headed to Disney Parks. Both Disneyland and Disney World are currently working on transforming the ride Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The updated ride will follow Tiana and Naveen on a new journey, taking place after the final scene of the film. Guests will join the pair as they plan a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration, all while navigating the bayou full of Tiana’s animal friends. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in 2024.

Until then, stay tuned for more Disney Parks updates.
