What a time to be a Godzilla fan. Not only have we been getting some amazing movies, a 24-hour Godzilla channel, and awesome collectibles, but we are also seeing the return of the King of the Monsters at SDCC. Today Toho International announced That we will be seeing Godzilla exclusives from IDW Publishing, Mondo, and Super7. Here are the official details from that announcement.

Godzilla Stomps Into San Diego Comic-Con 2023 with Monster-Sized Exclusive Merch and More

The “King of the Monsters” is heading to San Diego Comic-Con in a big way this year! Toho International, the Japanese studio’s U.S.-based subsidiary that has brought classic Godzilla to life, today revealed details of their upcoming presence at this year’s convention. Throughout the weekend, fans of Godzilla can check out a variety of monster-sized SDCC exclusive merch from some of the hottest licensees like IDW Publishing, Mondo, and Super 7.  

Sixty-nine years ago on November 3, 1954, Godzilla appeared on the silver screen for the first time in Japan’s Gojira. Since then, over 35 films have been made starring the enormous mutated kaiju which has resulted in a multi-billion dollar franchise and global fandom over several decades. First conceived in Japan, Godzilla quickly became a household name and has been featured in stand-alone books, comics, tv series, countless lines of consumer products, and more.

SDCC 2023 Exclusives

San Diego Comic-Con takes place July 20 through July 23 at the San Diego Convention Center.
