Disney+ has a date with Ahsoka Tano. The new Star Wars streaming series starring Rosario Dawson will premiere August 23rd. Ahsoka comes from the mind and creative direction of Dave Filoni, who created the character in animation before bringing her to live-action in The Mandalorian. The series also stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Ray Stevenson, who passed away on May 21st, appears in the show as Baylan Skoll in one of his final roles. Disney has a new TV spot that’ll appear during the NBA Finals broadcast on Wednesday.

The series follows Star Wars: Rebels and the disappearance of Ezra Bridger. Ahsoka should be a hell of a good time considering that The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett have been both so good on Disney+.
