Even if The Walking Dead ended late last year, AMC is still ready for more stories in that universe. Today, they announced a whole slate of different spinoffs for the zombie series. First, some bad news for fans of Fear The Walking Dead, the show will be ending after the upcoming eighth season. Season 8 will feature twelve episodes and premiere on May 14th, 2023.

New Series Coming From Your Favorite Characters Like Daryl And Maggie

The Walking Dead: Dead City premieres in June. It stars Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Maggie and Negan traveling into Manhattan. The crumbling city brings a new wrinkle to The Walking Dead set in a huge city instead of the countryside of the South.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is coming late this year, and a limited spinoff series starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira will film in 2023 and likely release in 2024.

Daryl’s solo show sees in wash ashore in France and he has to figure out how he got there. “The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”

As for Rick and Michonne, here’s the synopsis from AMC.
