It’s time for Elvis to make a comeback. After all, according to some conspiracy theorists, he’s still alive. At least that’s the case in Bubba Ho-Tep. The horror-comedy film sees the King of Rock’N’Roll battling the undead. Coming from Don Coscarelli and based on the Joe R. Lansdale short-story, Bubba Ho-Tep stars Bruce Campbell, Ossie Davis, Ella Joyce, Heidi Marnhout, and Bob Ivy. When mysterious deaths plague a Texas retirement home, it’s up to its most sequined senior citizen to take on a 4,000-year -old Egyptian mummy with a penchant for cowboy boots, bathroom graffiti, and sucking the souls from the barely living.

Bubba Ho-Tep releases on 4K UHD on February 7th, 2023.

The new extras plus an upgraded picture make this a must-buy for anyone who doesn’t already own Bubba Ho-Tep. For people who do already own the Blu-ray, this might be a tougher sell. We’ll have to see how the 4K picture quality looks. Those unreleased special features do sweeten the pot a bit.
